Excerpt: BAD QUALITY CONTROL NIKON, UNPACK THE LENS AND MAKE TESTS AND UNFORTUNATELY THE LENS WAS A SERIOUS PROBLEM FOCUS BACK, BUT WHAT ABOUT NIKON ALSO KNEW THAT HAD THE PROBLEM WITH CAMERAS D600 BUT IS IMPORTANT TO IMPROVE ITS CONTROL SYSTEMS QUALITY I AM VERY SAD AND dISAPPOINTED, RETURN THE LENS A B & H...
Summary: There are many rave review of this lens out there, and when it does hit its target, the image is beautiful. However, the focus mechanism is somewhat faulty. I'm getting a success rate of about 30-40%. The rest of the images are all out of focus.
Excerpt: Yes, this lens could produce stunning results due to its exceptional optical performance. If there were no problems with the autofocus. I tried two copies of this lens (both imported versions at B&H) and could not believe what I saw.
Pros: Durable, Nice Bokeh, Rugged, Strong Construction
Excerpt: This lens was greatly awaited. When it arrived, I got about 50% focus reliability. The silent wave motor on this and the new 50mm 1.4 lens does not meet professional standards. Very slow, and VERY inaccurate. It seems it runs out of power to drive it to complete focus. tv

Summary: In der Hoffnung, dieses Objektiv würde an meiner Kamera keinen Ärger machen, da ich noch drei andere Objektive völlig ohne Front- und Backfokus-Probleme betreibe, habe ich es mir für meine D90 gekauft.
