Excerpt: I have purchased two of these 20mm lenses over time. BOTH broke down after warranty with the same problem...the aperture blades won't move when the f/stop ring is moved. No abuse or dropping. Independent Nikon repair shop said this is chronic to this lens and that repair is expensive.
Excerpt: I use this lens for interiors photography. Sometimes a 24 isn't wide enough. The 20mm fits the sweet spot without being garishly wide. No autofocus but depth of field at this focal length is abundant. It's built very well. sharp, compact. Just what I needed.
