Excerpt: Just got this lens used from Adorama, and have tested it out on both my D300 and D610 in various situations, both in low and regular light. Results were very good on the D300 with some fringing which was easily corrected using Camera Raw in Photoshop. Image quality is very good, with good sharpness throughout.
Pros: Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight
Excerpt: A fantastic little lens for a dx camera. Its a bit heavier then I thought for the size, as it is a higher quality lens. The photos I have used it for come out tack sharp and gorgeous!A fantastic fisheye lens!
Excerpt: I have a Nikon 16mm fisheye for FX, a Bower 8mm for FX/DX and this one. This does a great job, like the 16mm. An important accessory for these is Fisheye-Hemi software from Image Trends. This was the primary reason for adding a third fisheye to my collection. The software does a great job of removing excess curving in the image, when desired.
Excerpt: I originally bought this lens for skateboard photography. Fast at 2.8 and really produces great results. You'll also be surprised at the other uses... interior shots (getting the entire room), interesting group portraits, I also love taking "selfies" with it because you can get a large group in the pic OR if it's just you, you get a full view of the background.
