Excerpt: Great Product, it is a nice step up from my Nikkor 200mm. It is very durable and doesn't feel cheaply built. The price is the best part about this lens! Only flaw i find in the lens is the auto focus isn't always accurate, but its really not a huge issue.
Pros: Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Nice Bokeh, Rugged, Strong Construction
Excerpt: The lens was excellent and met all of my needs and expectations except at autofocus on maximum zoom, the image was not as sharp as it was at 250 mm or less, even on a tripod. For the price paid, it was well worth the investment.
Excerpt: I got this lens for a trip to the Yellowstone National Park and it was really useful to capture the wildlife. It's amazing how the active VR can really stabilize the image with a full 300mm in action.
The lens is a little bit heavy, but what can you expect from a 70-300mm, right?
Excerpt: Good lens and good value. And definitely has good photographic potential.

But doesn't fit my rather minimal tote-around camera bag. Too big, and a little heavy. Not to say you can get 70-300mm much smaller and lighter. Just not an ideal tote-around lens, to augment my 18-55mm.
