Summary: Always been a bit sceptical when buying second hand of off the net. Checked out the reviews of this company and seemed to be quite good, with a lot giving five stars. The item I purchased was a Nikon AF-S VR 70-300 f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED lens.
Summary: This is a solidly built lens that handles well on my D300s and autofocuses swiftly and accurately. As a club photographer I find the image quality is everything I need.Dedicated Natural History photographers would probably prefer a prime lens, but this one's great for the price.
it is pretty heavy to carry but does balance well on camera

Summary: The Vibration Reduction is extremely effective enabling the use of much slower speeds than other telephotos with this focal range. All results so far have been pin sharp and colours very faithful.
Summary: i attached this to my Nikon d3100. my first outing has produced a number of pleasing results. it was a lovely sunny morning though, As expected there was no warrantee documentation in the box.
Summary: I'd been using an old AF Nikkor 70-210 for several years and fancied treating myself to a newer, slightly longer lens, and after reading several reviews I decided to get the 70-300 VR. I have not been disappointed.
Summary: I bought this lens and took it straight on safari, pairing it with a D80. I took about 2,000 shots with it over two weeks and some of the results are great. Most of the time of course I was shooting at 300mm with VR on in very bright light and it performed pretty well.
Summary: I'll be upfront, unlike at least one other reviewer of this lens, I do have the heavyweight, expensive f2.8 version, and I wouldn't swap that lens for this one. However, it is difficult to take a heavy lens on an airplane.
