Composer Pro with Sweet 35

Lindsey, B&H Photo
25 February 2015
  • Excerpt: When B&H had the lensbaby sale (buy composer pro & sweet 35, get edge 80 free) I HAD to jump on it. I've been wanting both of these lenses for a while & this was the perfect opportunity for me to try each of them. I like the effect the sweet 35 gives, but it is a little too zoomy for my liking. I find it does fit well for more urban shots. I LOVE the edge 80! Changing out the lenses can be a little tricky, so watch the how to videos if needed.
  • Pros: Lightweight, Nice Bokeh
  • Cons: Tough To Attach

awsome

massalo, Amazon
20 February 2015
  • Summary: An excellent lens for creatives. It can be unpredictable against lights, but even then it's an amazing soft lens. Equivalent to a fast 50mm, with the selective blur.

This lens is awesome

Glen the dad, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: Honestly, this lens is awesome. I am not a "gear head" so I can't tell you that this lens is amazing at whatever whatever, but it is just genuinely fun to play with and has produced some exciting and unique images. Manually focusing the sweet spot isn't the easiest thing in the world, and takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it's just a blast to play with.
  • Pros: Lightweight, Nice Bokeh
  • Cons: Slow Focus, Weak Casing

  • Excerpt: Really a fun lens. Allows you to be creative with ordinary shots and isolate your subject in a unique fashion. I really enjoy the potential of this lens and think anyone looking for something new to try to be more expressive with their photography should get this lens.
  • Pros: Nice Bokeh

Great for creative shots

Jake E, Amazon
12 January 2014
  • Summary: This lens is great for taking creative shots, and is really to use to teach about how camera's work. The fact that you can change everything from the optic to the aperture, is really amazing. I strongly recommend the book Lensbaby, Bending your Perspective. The fact that you can move around the area in focus to anywhere in the picture is really cool. I love it, and even have begun to use it in pictures I would have never thought using this selective focus effect on.
