Excerpt: I have this in a Canon Mound with the Sweet 35 optic. Since getting a Fuji XT1 for travel decided to get the Fuji mount with the sweet 50. Will likely swap the optics using the 50 on my full frame Canon and 35mm on thr Fuji, giving a 50mm equivalent.
Excerpt: It was much easier to learn how to operate this lens than I thought. It took me a single afternoon out on the field to learn how to use it. The main reason I choose this one (as suppose to the sweet 35 or the sweet 50) was because of its miniature effect which is similar to a tilt-shift lens.
Summary: I would suggest that anyone who purchases this...also purchase the class. I have struggled to find the sweet spot of focus. I have some very creative pics without the class but for the price of this item its best to just crowbar open that wallet and buy the class...
Excerpt: The original composer really got me excited about photography again. I had a Canon 5D MkII and was doing more video than photography at the time. I had one gray day outdoors with a couple willing models shooting scenes for music video and some stills.
Excerpt: This is a great novelty lens and one of the cheapest tilt shift lens you can get. I use it mostly when traveling to shoot interesting landscapes in miniature. It's a lot of fun to use but difficult to master.
Summary: You will need to practice with this combination; even though the entire mechanism is vastly improved from other Lensbabies, you still need to shoot and view many times before you can predict the outcome. This can be good fun...but not when you are trying to work fast and with live people.
