Conclusion: CONCLUSION When I first received the Lensbaby, I had no idea whether or not I would like it, or if it was just a gimmick. After a month of use, I’m beginning to realize some possibilities for using this lens. Often times, certain lenses really make you sit back and think about your photography because they are a challenge to use. If you are a photographer looking to spark your creativity, the Lensbaby is the kind of product that can do just that.
Excerpt: At first glance, a Lensbaby may appear to be an accessory for a toy camera, or maybe even a classic lens from generations past. In fact, it turns out to be a little of both. For the amateur or professional photographer, a Lensbaby is a lens that will not only be fun to “play with”, but also a tool that helps increase the creativity instilled in every photographer.
Conclusion: , you're expected to be fussy. If you've got a DSLR, you're expected to produce one correctly focussed and exposed image of everything you point your camera at, plus, generally, something between three and thirty useless and/or pictures of the same subject. If the subject is conscious, a significant number of the images should feature it scowling at the camera while it waits for you to stop being annoying.
Conclusion: However, I did find the Lensbaby took a little getting used to. First you need to work out the best way to hold it, which means you have to practise holding the camera, manoeuvring the Lensbaby and pressing the shutter release. Although the manual gives directions on how to hold and tilt the Lensbaby, you might find you need to experiment if you have small hands.
