Conclusion: Want a perfect medium lens? It doesn't get any better than this LEICA 35mm f/2 ASPH. The only reason not to get this lens is that once you do, you'll never have any real reason to go lens shopping again. You'll finally be able to just go out and shoot for a change.

Conclusion: The Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH is a very nice lens, that delivers amazing sharpness in the image center, but impresses a lot less at the image borders and corners, at least in terms of sharpness. Vignetting is fairly pronounced wide open and also on a rather high level stopped down.
