Excerpt: I certainly hope there is a PRO300 version for Sony mount, but the image quality of this MC7 version is still fine. I am using a Sony a7rII camera with a LA-EA3 adapter. It works with two lenses that I currently have: the Sigma 85mm f1.4 HSM and the Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 USD.

Excerpt: I was pleasantly surprised at how sharp the images turned out using this Kenko MC7 2.0x DGX teleconverter since I'd read that the use of teleconverters degrades image quality. Not this one. I think it must depend on the equipment you're using it with.
Summary: This is a good quality converter for the price. But a heads up to anyone that wants to use it with a reflector lens. I'm using a Canon Rebel T5i and I have to put a thin strip of cellophane tape over the contacts on the converter.
