They don't call this the "magical lens" for nothing.

Summary: This truly is an amazing lens. This lens has almost entirely replaced my kit lens (18-55mm). The extra speed, low light capabilities, lightweight, sharpness, and bokeh all outweigh the added flexibility of my kit lens. I only pull out my kit for "wide angle" shots.
Summary: This lens is magic. The perfect companion to my X-Pro 1. Image Quality: It's tack sharp at f/1.4 and only gets sharper stopping down. Very minimal chromatic aberration in really high contrast scenes and non-existent in pretty much everything else. Out of focus areas have a very pleasing smoothness.
Summary: I love the Lens. It fast, sharp, lightweight, well built and fun to use. I use it on my Fujifilm X-Pro 1 camera. I hate to take it off. It's a great indoor/ existing light lens The lens is noisy though as other reviewers have stated. There are plenty reviews on this lens such as DP camera review.
Summary: After doing a lot of research on this lens (and the XT-1 Graphite Edition) I decided to finally pull the trigger. Being primarily a wedding and family portrait photographer, my primary concern after reading and watching tons of reviews was that the focusing was going to be an issue.
Summary: I would say that this lens is the most succulent lens in the line up, but I haven't tried the 1.2 portrait lens. The bokeh that this lens produces is really creamy and dreamy. Its small, well built and it has a strange looking metal hood... All the other lenses have plastic hood but not this one.
Summary: I would say that this is one of the best Fuji lenses for night photography. It is very sharp and produces great tones and a silky bokeh. The construction is solid, and the optics are just different from other brands. You have to try it to see it.
Excerpt: I use this lens on my XE1 for night shooting. It is keenly sharp and does not require a flash. Some folks don't like the square hood but I like it just fine. It stays on and does it's job. The lens is light but very solid.
Summary: If you own an x series body, then it's a no brainer that you should own this lens. I purchased this when I purchased the x-pro1 and a 23mm 1.4 and the 35mm has almost permanantly been glues to the x-pro1. Not only is this my favorite focal length but this lens also renders beautifully!
