Excellent Ultra Wide

  • Excerpt: I own two Fuji cameras, an X-E2 and an X-T1. This is the first Fujinon I purchased. My first lens was a Zeiss Touit 32. This lens is so superb that I have purchased the 23 mm also. I just may not go back to Nikon. The 14 is sharp corner to corner even at f 2.8. Fuji glass has me rethinking everything. The manual to auto focus slide ring works wonderfully. It is most intuitive.

Fuji XF 14mm f/2.8 R Ultra Wide-Angle Le

  • Excerpt: Of the four Fuji lenses I have for my X-E2 (XF18-55, XF55-200, XF35, & XF14) this is by far the most outstanding. The autofocus is fastest by far, the colors, saturation & sharpness is the best by far, & the capability as an ultra wide is amazing. It has convinced me that the best lenses Fuji makes are the primes, & I plan to shift to an all prime user. What a great piece of glass!
  • Pros: Consistent Output, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Rugged, Strong Construction

  • Excerpt: Being a wide-angle-ophile, this was the first lens I bought to go with my X-E2. I'll eventually get another lens or two, but I am in no way disappointed. What I've found is that, if I need a tighter angle, I just crop! The lens is so sharp, that I hardly notice.I really love the feel and build quality. Metal!
  • Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Rugged, Strong Construction

  • Excerpt: I use this lens for night prography and landscapes. Also, with the close focus, I can compose nice nature close ups without isolating the subject from the background.
  • Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh, Strong Construction

Fabulous lens

  • Excerpt: Absolutely fabulous lens, never had an ultra wide angle with so little distortion and such great contrast. Easy change from auto to manual focus by means of shift of ring. Only one remark, aperture ring changes position from A to f22 too easily....
