Excerpt: I sold all of my Canon DSLR equipment and made the move to the Fuji XT 1 and never want to look back. The quality of the Fuji equipment is exceptional and the XF 56mm f/1.2 has once again exceeded my expectations. Clear, precise and beautiful bokeh. Purchased mainly for portrait and functions.
Pros: Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh, Rugged, Strong Construction
Excerpt: I just recently bought the Fuji XT-1 and 2 lens. This 56mm f/1.2 lens is equal to a 85mm lens in full frame sensor cameras (or 35mm film cameras). It is very well built, and feel solid while handling it.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Nice Bokeh, Rugged, Sharpe Great Color, Strong Construction
Superb portrait lens, very sharp and capable of very shallow depth of field with attractive bokeh in the back.

Summary: As many people have already testified, this is simply one of the best lenses available for any camera. It takes remarkably sharp pictures with a nice bokeh when it is opened wide. It is an 85 mm equivalent and very well suited for taking portraits.
Excerpt: Very sharp, and well made. This lens is used on an Xe-2. It is somewhat slower to focus than the only other lens I have so far, the 18mm f2. I had hopes that the f1.2 max. aperture would make it a bit faster to auto-focus than it has turned out to be.
Pros: Easily Interchangeable, Nice Bokeh, Strong Construction
Summary: I got my hands on the APD and did some testing on 3 different assignments. A very interesting lens. There are differences in quality, sometimes subtle, sometimes obvious. It is a LOT more expensive than the standard 56mm and that is the only real negative.
