Summary: I lost my Cannon 17-55 mm f 2.8 lens recently. I bought this much less $ Cannon 18-55 mm f 3.5-5.6 IS lens. Surprisingly, the 18-55 mm lens gives very sharp and beautiful images, even at night, which are almost as good as those from 17-55mm. I am very happy with it, and higly recommend.
Summary: Canon EF-S 18-55 mm kit lens with image stabilizer is a very useful thing, it can give the quality of image which is excellent for an amateur taking photos with a Canon SLR APS-C camera. I am pleased very much to purchase it!
