This lens was a great investment!

 • Excerpt: I owned a 17-85mm lens. There were two upcoming vacations that I wanted a lens with a greater capacity. This was it!! 18-200mm covers everything I could want. The 18-200mm is only slightly heavier; well worth it. The pictures are fantastic. Don't know why I waited so long to purchase it.
 • Pros: Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Rugged, Strong Construction

Great Perchase

 • Conclusion: This lens has become my favorite to use. I use it for a bit of everything from landscape to weddings and everything in between. though I dislike the fact that the lens will not stay at the zoom I am at if I tip the camera forward even slightly.
 • Pros: great quality, fast auto focus, sharp images
 • Cons: heavy, lens creep

Love my new Canon lens!

 • Excerpt: I can zoom in more with my new 18-200mm lens. I mostly take family pics and this lens enables me to take better videos and pictures especially during school functions, when getting a front seat is not always possible. The lens is understandably heavier than my prev Canon 18-55mm one, though. But definitely something I can handle and get used to!
 • Pros: Consistent Output, Fast / accurate auto-focus

Works great just as expected.

 • Summary: Great walk around lens with the D600. Performs as expected and is good for capturing the moments you would miss if one had to fumble with changing lenses while out and a bout. Replaced my older two lenses and covers the range they covered nicely.

Great Lens

 • Excerpt: I love this lens when I don't want to deal with multiple lenses and changing them all of the time. It is so versatile and works in almost any situation.

It is fairly durable. I recently dropped it from the top of my tripod (over five feet) and it only suffered a slight crack on the edge of the filter adapter. Still works great!
 • Pros: Fast / accurate auto-focus
 • Cons: Lens Creep, Weak Casing
