  • Summary: Sadly I waited 6 months after purchasing to use. I'm not sure if I received a bad lens or not, but it is not sharp no matter what I do. I am unable to find the white box it came in so I'm stuck with it. Won't ever buy from this dealer again.

Buyer Beware with seller "Electronics Basket"

  • Summary: I ordered this lens twice. Both times I received a white box marked "Canon 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 EF-S IS STM" BUT inside was a much cheaper EF-M 18-55 lens. Electronics Basket has positive reviews but obviously something is up. Interesting how there's never any L glass accidentally shipped in a white box! I eventually got the correct lens from Camera Wholesalers (through Amazon).

  • Summary: I really wanted to try this for my "walk-around" lens but on having received it and trying it it was found that all the photos were out of focus in all instances and they all looked yellowish. The delivery box had some damage to it and didn't have much packing material inside so I don't know if poor handling was the reason the lens was faulty or poor quality control from Canon. So I sent it back for a replacement.
