Summary: Cheap starter lens works real good for what I been using it for. It's really 75-300mm. I like using it better then the 55mm lens that came with the camera I bought. It's cheaper then the IS lens, but for what I'm using it for it works just fine.
Summary: Great lens to extend the range of photographs that can be taken. Can I allow for any tax that is due on the sale of this item is paid to the UK Government rather than some off shore country Thank You
Summary: Be aware that with this lens you cannot really take panorama type shots, and take a step or two back from some subjects to get them in. If however you want a lens to get you much 'closer' to a subject then this will do the job. Not too sure about technical performance.
Summary: I bought this lens as a cheap lens to 'tide me over' until I could afford a 'better' lens. At this stage I am so impressed with this lens that I am thinking of saving my money, and not upgrading. The pictures are sharp and clear with very little need for post processing.
Summary: I bought this lens about a month or so ago, and I have to say that I'm very impressed. I've had a Canon 450D for about a year or so, and I'm relatively new to the world of DSLR photography. I was looking for a good quality, entry-level zoom lens and the Canon EF 90-300mm fits those criteria exactly.
Summary: I have had this lens for a few days now and although I haven't had chance to try it in every situation it is showing me what a great piece of kit it is. It is too heavy to replace the 18-55mm kit lens as my normal lens but it is very close to it.
Summary: I bought this lens for my canon 400d and it gives very sharp photos indoor and out, i've taken flash photos indoor of a catwalk show on full zoom (480mm) on 400d handheld and they are exellent, i've found the auto focus to be very good too, for the money i don't think you can get a better zoom lens,...
