  • Excerpt: This is a must have lens for anyone that wants a fast and sharp prime lens. After just one roll of film, this has become my walk-around lens that I keep on my camera. Not only is it great for portraits, it takes great sharp landscape pictures and really excels with close up shots.
  • Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh, Rugged, Strong Construction

I love this lens

  • Excerpt: I bought this after I used my sister's at a family gathering. It is said by some that Canon's EF 135mmF2L is the sharpest lens in their inventory. I have that lens and it is incredibly sharp, but this lens is just as sharp and amazing in every aspect. Razor sharp and excellent for portrait shots, producing awesome bokeh. When I had my crop sensor camera I used a 50mm as a street lens.
  • Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh, Rugged

When Tack Sharp Means Tack Sharp

Kyle May, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: I always read reviews prior to purchasing a product. They are always helpful and you learn to read between the lines...ie a negative reveiwers skill level and knowledge, etc. When I read the reveiews for this lens I was surprised at how many were positive reveiws. Since I do product photography, I need the absolute sharpest lenses - but since I am just a professional upstart, I lack the cash for the seriously expensive lenses. This lense is perfect for me.
  • Pros: Durable, Exceptional Wide Open, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Great balance, Lightweight, Rugged, Strong Construction, Super sharp
