Excerpt: I use the 70-200 mainly for sports and wildlife photography. Its a great lens, very sharp, slim, and easy to use. But there are a few things that just arent ideal about this lens. For instance, in some situations the focus will take a very long time.
Pros: Nice Bokeh, Strong Construction
Cons: Blurry Focus, Heavy, Poor in Low Light, Slow Focus
Excerpt: This is an excellent lens for the price. Be aware that the lack of image stabilization and the maximum aperture of f/4.0 makes it only ideal for very well lit places where capturing action is not required.
Excerpt: This Lens is a great lens for the price. It is the cheaper of the other L lenses because of its limitations. Although it might not have a great F stop for night and no image stabilization, it has served me well during photo shoots during the day and even has performed well at concert photo shoots.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Rugged, Strong Construction
Excerpt: This lens is ok, but if you are going to spend the money stretch yourself a bit and get the lens with Image Stabilizer. I regret getting this lens. But not that I bought it from B&H. They are a great company.
Summary: This camera comes with alot of features to help you take that great picture. It's a great camera. That's simple to use and you take good pictures with. I enjoy the results I get from mine. My Negative for me is that it's a little to squarish for me I'm use to the smoothness of the Minolta's.
