  • Excerpt: Wanted this lens for years. Didn't want to part with the money. Finally puled the trigger couple of months ago along with a B&W haze filter for it. This lens is fantastic! Very sharp all around. The IS works extremely well - within reason.

  • Summary: This lens is awesome. Sharp, sharp, sharp. It is relatively light and well balanced on the 7D. It is tack sharp at all focal lengths, excellent contrast and colour. For me, one of the best zoom lenses in the market aand it is very comparable to the 2.8 version. But cheaper and absolutly lightweight.

Great all around lens

  • Excerpt: Have only had this lens 3 wks. Have used it at my granddaughters volleyball games. Very sharp PICTURES and works fine with auto focus and servo settings. No issues yet. B@H was supposed to ship next day but it took 3 days to get it ,not a big deal. Still great service. Works great with my EOS 6D.
