Excerpt: I've been thinking about EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM for a long time. due to the weight I finally decided to buy this one instead since I hike and travel a lot. I like the sharpness and lightweight.
Excerpt: I purchased this lens primarily for landscape photography and it is turning out to be my favorite lens beyond the 24-105mm - very versatile, sharp and quick focusing. It's not too heavy and easy to use.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh, Strong Construction
Excerpt: This was my first L quality lense and I was very impressed with the results on my first shoot. The lense worked well on my 70D and produced great results. While the lense was expensive, I now understand why.
Excerpt: I also own the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM lens. However, the above lens though excellent is too heavy. After reading the positive reviews on "EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM Lens by Canon", I decided to buy this one as well. I primarily shoot landscapes, so the difference in f stop from 2.8 to 4.0 is not significant for me, since I never shoot below f/8 or f/11. I found this lens to be very light, extremely sharp even at the corners and having a great picture quality.
Pros: Consistent Output, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Rugged
Excerpt: Love this lens, it is my first L series and what a difference from kit lenses. I'm a novice and wanted a good lens for my nature photography . Excellent lens for me not to heavy ,very good image stabilizer ,my pictures are so clear , excellent in clarity , super sharp images with all apertures.
Pros: Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Strong Construction
