Excerpt: Wanted this lens for years. Didn't want to part with the money. Finally puled the trigger couple of months ago along with a B&W haze filter for it. This lens is fantastic! Very sharp all around. The IS works extremely well - within reason.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh, Relatively light, Rugged, Sharp, Strong Construction

Summary: This lens is awesome. Sharp, sharp, sharp. It is relatively light and well balanced on the 7D. It is tack sharp at all focal lengths, excellent contrast and colour. For me, one of the best zoom lenses in the market aand it is very comparable to the 2.8 version. But cheaper and absolutly lightweight.

Pros: Consistent Output, Great Contrast, Nice Bokeh, Rugged, Strong Construction

B@H was supposed to ship next day but it took 3 days to get it ,not a big deal. Still great service. Works great with my EOS 6D.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Rugged, Strong Construction
Excerpt: I purchased this lens to photograph my granddaughter playing softball. I have dabbled in photography most of my adult life. I have taken a few courses and this Canon DSLR is my second digital camera.
Pros: Consistent Output, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus
Excerpt: I've been thinking about EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM for a long time. due to the weight I finally decided to buy this one instead since I hike and travel a lot. I like the sharpness and lightweight.
