This lens is pretty much everything that I've heard it to be. Very sharp, even wide open, blazing fast AF, and the IS let me hand hold down to 1/10 pretty consistently. It's not cheap but you get what pay for. Read more

- Great Lens, I purchased it for sports photography (rowing to be specific) and it delivered everywhere:
- 1: Heavy, as others have said, this lens is heavier (and bigger) than the 100-400, but its worth it
