Excerpt: You'd be hard pressed to find a better, more versatile portrait, sports and wildlife lens. Paired with my 5D Mark III, the images are tack sharp, bokeh is creamy. Makes an ideal sports and wildlife lens when paired with my 7D Mark II.
Excerpt: I am an amateur wildlife photographer. This lens provides me with every quality I need to take tack sharp images of flying birds, running cats, and objects moving due to the wind. This lens is even sharper than the original 70-200 mm 2.8 lens.
Pros: Easy To Use, Quality Construction, Tack Sharp Images
Excerpt: First the bad: The lens is somewhat heavy (but this was known at time of purchase) thus recommend using with a monopod or tripod if e.xtended use is expected. The good: Everything else. The lens has been highly reliable and quick to focus. Mine has a tendency to front focus ever so slightly.
Excerpt: I use the lens to shoot sports mainly. It lets in enough light that I can run a very fast shutter speed and my pictures have no blur at all. even in dark situations like Friday night football games you can use a fast enough shutter to stop all motion.
Excerpt: I am an amateur aspiring to go pro, and only just getting to grips with this lens, but I have to say Wow. Really. So versatile, well built and confidence inspiring, you won't want to take it off your body. Until recently my only L lens was a kit 24-105 f4 and it has performed impeccably.
Pros: Easy To Use, Improves Performance, Quality Construction
Excerpt: I've had the chance to really get to know this lens, both for photo and video purposes, and it is gold! Sharp, fast, accurate and a clean. It is and for ever will be a go-to lens in my fleet of lenses both for commercial and personal work.
Excerpt: This is a must lens in every photographer's bag for low light conditions. While this lens is well suited to a wide range of subjects and conditions it is the go-to lens for capturing a sunset background with a foreground subject. More suitable over its brother f/4 lens.
Pros: Easy To Use, Great in low light, Quality Construction, Quality Images, versatile
