Excerpt: I had the old version of this piece of glass. Same weight I should say. I noticed a more saturated pictures (non edited without a polarizer) compared to my old one. Slow focus sometimes. The picture has the +5 vibrance and +15 saturation.
Excerpt: Bought this lens a couple of years ago I use this lens on a Canon 5D Mark III. This lens is great for portraits and sports photos. This lens provides razor sharp photos when used properly. The f2.8 throughout the 70 to 200 focal range is outstanding.
Pros: Easy To Use, Great Bokeh, Great in low light, Image Stablity, Improves Performance, Quality Construction, Tripod Collar Included, Weather Sealed

Excerpt: I have the 70-200 4.0 and have wanted to purchase this lens for a long time. It is quite a bit heavier. It is a beautiful lens. I love the sharpness I can achieve with this lens. Used at two events in the short time I have had it.
