Super-light cheep travel/hiking telephoto for full frame

Summary: This older lens is still very relevant since it is by far the lightest full frame lens covering this range. It lacks stabilization, but I have found this is the perfect medium telephoto lens to bring hiking if I was otherwise not going to bring a second lens due to weight or size.
Summary: I bought this lens quite a few years back. I used it on my EOS A2, which dates me a little, I now use it on my t3i, and am still happy with the results. It is not the most sturdy lens, but if you are careful with your equipment, should last quite a few years.
Summary: Canon's EF 55-200mm F/4.5-5.6 II USM is a pretty good lens for the price that it's sold at. It's not the sharpest lens in the world, but its a great lens for those who want a little more zoom than what's available on the standard lenses.

Summary: This is a basic telezoom EF-s (APS sensor) lens. For a basic lens, this lens is GOOD! They can be found easily for a cheap price. Use it properly, and they will deliver great results. For basic users that want a very decent lens, this is it.
