Excerpt: I bought this lens along with 70D. It's really light weight, fast auto-focus, cheap price, and amazingly gives DOF. I mostly use it for indoor shooting, and so far I like it a lot. Definitely recommended.
Excerpt: I just got this lens. Bought it for my daughter to use on her semester abroad in Italy. I shot a few photos with it before sending it to her. The photos were crisp and clear. I'm waiting for feedback from her on how it performs on her travels. Will update then.
Excerpt: This lens can bring really good results. Although it's a 1.8 and not a 1.2 it can still bring close results especially when using a tripod. Not too much effort has to be put to really maximize the capacity of this lens and a very competitive price.
Excerpt: Glass is really sharp, especially given the cheap price. For the most part it focuses all around pretty well, except in very low light it won't focus and within 11-12 inches of a subject it won't focus. Body is cheap plastic, but the glass is very nice. Good upgrade from a kit lens glass; you see the difference. Also, having that extra open aperture (1.8 but sharpest at 2.5,2.8) really makes a difference, allowing you to keep your ISO not too high.
Pros: 18 aperature, Easily Interchangeable, Good Price, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh
Excerpt: I am using it to take close-up shots for my 5 month & 5 Year kids. I am getting nice pictures. i am not a professional photographer, still i don't need to much worry about settings as it is taken care automatically.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Lightweight, Strong Construction
