A MUST HAVE LENS

Frank M, B&H Photo
7 May 2015
  • Excerpt: This is one of the lowest cost lenses with the highest reviews I have ever seen. Originally introduced in 1990 (!!!!), it still remains today as a top lens. DXOMark rates this as a 25-28 on full frame cameras which is absolutely outstanding.
  • Pros: Fast Prime, Lightweight, Very Highly Rated, Very Low Cost
  • Cons: Cheap Construction

Drive-it-like-you-stole-it lens

Printman, B&H Photo
6 May 2015
  • Excerpt: This is the drive-it-like-you-stole-it lens of the 50mm world. It isn't the strongest, but for the price it is the best bargain you can find. Great for interviews and low light situations, amazing image, however rather flimsy, but for the price, you can't beat it.

Great Lens for the Cost

Andrew Davis, Amazon
3 May 2015
  • Summary: Love the lens. Great prime lens. Just wish it was of better build quality. This is my second time buying it. The first one fell once and broke. That proves of course. Both that it's made cheap and that I like it.
