Excerpt: I really like this lens, and i'm very glad to have it in my arsenal. The sharpness, combined with the great focal range (especially on aps-c sensor cameras) make this my go to lens in most cases.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Strong Construction
Excerpt: I'm using this lens on a Sony FS-700 and it seems to perform quite well indeed as a "standard" lens for my style of run and gun shooting. I appreciate how close it focuses and the OIS works to keep shots smooth. With the requisite Metabones Speed Booster, it's good in low light.
Pros: Consistent Output, Nice Bokeh, Strong Construction
Excerpt: I have this lens had over several years. I have 5D MARK III and tested many lens of prime and zoom of Canon, plus Zeiss (from 15mm to). And the conclusion is this is very versatile for the traveler. I constantly travel from state the another and / or another countries.
Excerpt: The F4 is a fairly light comfortable lens to use for street shooting and the results look crisp. I had been on a trip using a Canon 85 and a kit lens and found the 85 cut people off -- I was too accustomed to a zoom. This seems a nice fit and a little more length that the zoom that tops out at 70mm.
Pros: Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Fast Light Good Range, Lightweight, Rugged
Summary: I had concerns purchasing the lowest price from a 3rd party vendor, but arrived as promised, white box and all. Great quality lens, very happy with it. Only reason for 4 starts is low quality UV filter. I don't care about the UV, but wanted something to protect the lens without back reflections.
