Quick focus, good overall pictures, but

Summary: Lens is faster auto focus, overall good photo results. But went to faulty in less than 2 years - power diaphragm issue. While search the issue on website, found this is common issue with this lens for many years. Why canon you didn't take an action - looks like only this lens is faulty for many in the L series.
Absolutely tack sharp images! Lightweight, and great value for the money.

Summary: I just purchased this lens on Oct. 20. It was a used lens, but in very good condition. Took my first pictures with it of the kids on Halloween. I own the Canon 70-200 2.8 and the canon 300 2.8, which both take incredible photos. But the 24-105 in my opinion is better than both of those lenses. The images I took with this lens are absolutely tack sharp. I have used the 24-70 2.8 before, and it just doesn't compare to the 24-105.
Summary: This is an Amazing lens, light weight, fast and sharp. I should have bought this lens years ago. I really wanted the 24-70 and I might still get it, but this is the perfect walk around lens to have in your bag.
Summary: Very excellent lens. I loved it from the day it has arrived. Now this is the only lens on my camera unless I'm shooting distant objects. Fantastic value for money. I'm using this lens to shoot my small baby and also nature photography.
Great product, and I am very happy to choose ebay as my store.

Summary: I think this is one of the greatest things in my Photography life, that I have missed. I love the lens. Plus having it as a second hand wasn't what I expected. I mean I got this for almost half of what I had to pay at a retail store, and plus it would come with extra stuff....
Summary: This lens produces soft images, I would be hard pressed to label it an L lens. I would think it would work well for taking photos of your kids while at the park, the IS and zoom lens will come ln handy, and even though the images will not be that sharp, they will be acceptable photos that the family will enjoy viewing.
Summary: I recently switched from Nikon to a Canon EOS 6D Full Frame. Purchased this lens model with advice from some Pro and semi-pro photog buddies who own this model. The lens Exceeded my expectations. I am Very Pleased with its low light capabilities at F/4. This lens performs and partners Beautifully with my Canon EOS 6D with its Awesome ISO capabilities.
