Talk about Wide Angle (or Ultra Wide Angle if you would like), the only 2 choices you have are: 16-35mm II and 17-40mm. I have the 17-40mm in hand now and I have decided to upgrade due to better IQ quality, light-fallout control, and bigger aperture. Right now I am using 5D with this lenses and it's really wide. So why do I like this lens... The most important thing about this lens is it's flexibility. A constant f/2.8 rocks. It's very difficult to make a zoom wide angle with such a low apature. The image quality is amazing and is really fun to shoot with on dark days or even at night.
