  • Excerpt: My first evening with the 135mm I ventured into a lowlit, overcast mountain area. The resulting shots were very cool- I know I will find many uses for this excellent lens over the years.

Canon L lens won't disapoint you!

  • Excerpt: I needed a faster lens for low light situations in the field for wildlife, and sports photography. I can now get amazing captures that were much harder to achieve with a slower lens! I've never had an f/2 lens, and the dof does take a bit of time and practice to get used to. Your focus has to be spot on! I've akso used this lens for portrait photography and the creamy, blurred backgrounds are what most all reviews stated...awesome!

For the Most Part Love it!

  • Excerpt: I'm using this lens for portraits and for weddings. Overall it's amazing, beautiful colors, bokeh and crisp!! The only complaint I'd have is that it's slow to focus in low light. I had a wedding last weekend and it struggled focusing for the reception. But outdoors it's spot on and creates beautiful images!
  • Pros: Nice Bokeh, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Poor in Low Light
