Very Nice but Not for Cropped Sensor

  • Excerpt: This review is based on my one day use on a Canon 7d. As much as I wanted to like this lens, The Lord Of The L Lens, I just couldn't find any practical use for it. I already own a 70-200 f/4 lens and that has just as good sharpness as the 135 f2 L prime lens. Having to move my feet to recompose a shot seemed dumb considering the price, I really had no room, or I'd end up in the middle of the street!
  • Pros: Built like a tank
  • Cons: Heavy

About the sharpest lens I've come across

Cardo, WEX

  • Summary: This lens is the one I use for portraits on a full frame Ds. Snaps into focus, whisper quiet and sharp with brilliant resolution to show every pore on the skin. Not for soft focus glamour but for every wrinkle and hair of character.
  • Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Quick Focus, Rugged, Sharp Focus, Strong Construction
