Excerpt: All the reviews raved about this lens - and it didn't disappoint. Great, affordable macro lens - super sharp. If you don't want to spend a fortune on the L series lens, this is the one to get.
Excerpt: I am an amateur nature photographer, still learning my Canon T4i camera. I love this lens. I take floral photos and the images are nice and sharp. I am finding things in the flowers that I could never see with just my eyes.
Pros: Consistent Output, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus
Excerpt: I am an amateur photographer with about 20 years film and 20 years digital experience. I recently purchased this lens for my new 70D. The bottom line, for the photography I'm interested in I decided that the Image Stabilization (IS) wasn't a necessity so I chose this lens and I very happy with my choice. This is a great value, high quality image, macro photography is outstanding and the auto focus function works extremely well.
Pros: Consistent Output, Rugged, Strong Construction
Excerpt: This was exactly what I expected in a Canon macro that is not of the L-series: good stuff. AF motor is fast and silent, though MF is preferred for true macro shots. I bought this for portrait sessions with newborns as well as true macro shots. For portraits, I can hand hold and get sharp focus. I need a tripod or monopod for true macro shots.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Rugged, Strong Construction
