Not great, but a good choice for a gift.

Summary: I had no need to own this set, and can't say that I fawned over it having gotten it. There's very little building involved, and it doesn't make for a great display on its own, but it is small and cheap.
Summary: This is a great kit for a young one transitioning from Duplos to lego's. Very easy to follow directions and simple construction. It also doesn't take very long to build so there is little chance of them getting bored while constructing. Lets your novice builder feel like he is a master builder.
10 hours of fun for $4.69. That's 47 cents per hour! THis is a great little lego set.

Summary: For under $5, your kid can spend a good 30 mins building and learning. Then, after it's made, s/he can pretend the shark is chasing the surfer, that the boat is dragging the surfer, that all 3 are having an ocean picnic together. It's just awesome.
Summary: I am slightly disappointed at how pricey Legos are becoming. Hate the fact that the kids only want to play with newer sets each time, and after a couple of weeks they end up in the toy box and never to be picked up again.
Summary: Very simple set but again what did you expect. I bought this for my 5 year old who has special needs and it was just the right amount of steps for him to keep his interest (which is about 5 minutes) He loves Lego's because his older brother is really into them but can't stay on task to build them...
