Easier than City series and feels like a big boy lego.

Summary: Got this on target for over 14 dollar. Duplo selection was not appealing so got this for my 2 yr boy. Definitely easier than city version since stickers are already printed on and more pieces are already together. But the hook is so easy to be lost so guess it would have been nice if really tiny pieces are just fixed. My boy loves it of course but not as fun as city for me.
Summary: I took a chance and bought this backhoe Lego kit for my truck obsessed son. Though my son has poor fine motor skills, he was engaged from start to finish (almost 40 minutes) sitting still and manipulating 90 percent of the pieces on his own. Watching my son master this (on his first attempt) brought tears to my eyes. He is immensely proud of his creation, as am I. It's incredible to watch his spatial relation sense and fine motor skills develop through this toy.
Wonderful for kids not yet ready for "Big Boy" Legos

Summary: Love, love, love this! My 4-year-old younger son wanted so badly to play with "big boy" Legos. He'd had it with Mega Blocks and Duplos, especially after watching his older brother spend hours and hours putting together, taking apart, and putting back together his Lego trucks. My younger son got this set for his 4th birthday, and was immediately able to start working on this truck. The pictorial directions were clear enough for him to do this on his own.
