Very cool set, could have used more

Summary: Very cool set! I would have liked to see a hover board included and possibly a couple outfit changes for Marty and the doc. They should have included Einstein, the dog! It would have been cool if Marty came with a camcorder also.a couple missing detail were a "DMC" delorean logo on the front if the car and Marty's "art in revolution" button on his jean jacket (which isn't really visible when he wears his vest).
Summary: Bought this for our sixteen-year-old as a Christmas gift, and he was STOKED upon opening it. It was cracked open immediately --even with pricier gifts in the room-- and he began building it right away. He says it gets a five out of five stars because (and I quote), "It's so cool, and it depicts the DeLorean very well.
Doors.....Where we're going we don't need doors.....

Summary: As a huge LEGO fan, knowing they were making a DeLorean was like a dream come true. Unfortunately, the reality of the dream is less magical. The build itself is fun. And the ability to make the DeLorean from BttF 1, 2, or 3 was an added bonus. However, the set doesn't come together and I blame most of that on the Gulf Doors. If you look at the doors, they aren't actually doors.
Summary: As a LEGO Cuusoo product, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Unfortunately, it isn't as high quality as a regular LEGO product you'd find in the store. A very fragile piece, I found myself struggling to just fit the door over the minifigs to close them inside the vehicle. it still doesn't quite close all the way with a figure inside. Still, it's an official LEGO set of the BTTF DeLorean, and that alone makes it worth the price.
Summary: Bought this for my 7 year old. Box is well made collector quality and it closes shut just like a pizza box. The instruction booklet it thick and also collectors quality. It has information about the movie and the guy whow designed this Lego piece The car was easy to put together. My 7 year old only needed help a few times due to him placing a piece backwards. The car come with two sets of rims, gray and red.
It was a great idea, but what happened to LEGO's quality?!

Summary: My nine-year-old son was really excited about this DeLorean; he's loved playing with it; it's a great concept. But what he just brought to my attention is the fact that SEVEN of the blocks in the set are cracked! He hasn't been eating them; he hasn't smashed them with a hammer. I think most of us have, at some point, stepped on LEGO bricks without doing any damage to the bricks.
Summary: I was very excited about this set, in theory, but ultimately was not impressed with it as anything but a showpiece. The best part about this are the two minifigs, which are very well done and feature two-sided heads with happy and scared faces for each. I also like that it came with pieces to let you build the car from whichever movie you like, since it was a bit different looking in each film. The custom license plate pieces are a nice touch as well.
Summary: I wanted something to add to my office and this was perfect. Had a fun time building the DeLorean and it looks great! There are a couple of places that are a little delicate and sometimes compapart, so I am not sure if it would be worth buying for little kids, but for display this is great!
Summary: So I am an avid Lego collector, as well as a child of the eighties, so when I saw this show up on Lego and then on Amazon I had to have it. As a kit, it has a few issues. The cab of the DeLorean has stability issues and I feel like this set really could due with a Ultimate Collector Edition.
Summary: THE LEGO brand is always innovating and getting "capture" the public, for their various collections. With this series of Back to the Future, has captured my attention, both as a fan, collector, for his portrayal of one of the best movies of all time. It is a delight to have in my hands a item of this and find a lot of details not overlooked.
