  • Summary: This was purchased for a 12 yr. old lego builder and he had it completed in about an hour. Good collectable set with some educational value. We are big fans of the Architectural series and this is the 3rd set we have bought. Will be adding to the collection.

Great untill I found a problem

  • Summary: I was excited to build the UN headquarters as I have built many of the other architecture sets. Then as I was building one of the blocks was not the correct size and the other pieces wouldn't fit in. It was not user error as I tried to build it a second time and looked through the instructions carefully. Never had a problem with a Lego set until this one.

  • Summary: This is a good Lego set. Good detail, good bricks, but not good tower. it falls over to much!

One of the best builds in the series

  • Summary: I want to start by saying that this model embraces everything I think the Architecture Series is about. Many see this building as simply the monolithic tower, but the real prize in this model is how they assembled the base. On the real thing, there are so many curves and awesome angles, and I have to say that LEGO nailed it! As I was putting this together, it amazed me how the base assembled.

Very cool!

  • Summary: Now, as with most towers and buildings, there is bound to be repetition, and this piece was no exception. Still, a very fun build, as the end result is well worth it. As there are many pieces that only have one space connected to another piece, I would recommend using a knife, the Lego Remover Tool (genius!), or a ruler to make sure they are straightened out. Happy building!

  • Summary: It's my third LEGO Architecture (Guggenheim NY, Sydney opera) and The UN Headquarter was the funniest to build.

Easily one of the best landmarks

  • Summary: Notice: The ones who are hasty or the ones who build specially setting the bricks in order (LEGO is always written in one direction) will probably have a bad time.

  • Summary: This is one of my favorite architecture sets. The only annoying part was getting the "flagpoles" in the front to stand up straight. The building itself is very sturdy and is very detailed. The price per piece is better than others but most of the pieces are small. Overall it was a fun build and it looks good on my display shelf.

Better than the actual UN

Legocanine, Lego

  • Summary: One of the better architecture series sets. Creative use of parts (such as the flag poles). Nice selection of the translucent blue color bricks. Very representative of the actual building. Like most sets in this series, its a fast, easy build. Makes for a nice display piece with other architecture series sets.
