Summary: Our 12yo 2-stroke Flymo expired near the end of the 2010 cutting season so I was faced with getting a similar replacement or a battery mower. From the reviews it seemed battery technology had finally reached the point of being sensibly usable so as the price was similar I eventually plumped for this...
Summary: the mower is very light and easy to handle which is handy when you are getting on on in life and not quite as strong as i was,the batterys are great getting rid of a cable makes it like a power mower witout the weight only thing against it dosent like long grass so if grass gets long you have to cut...
Summary: This lawnmower is great. Very light and easy to use (hope to get my wife using it:-)). No wires and the batteries do the job well. I misread the advertisement and thought they would last an hour each but they only last 20 minutes each.
Summary: Excellent product if somewhat expensive, but I guess this is always the case with new technology. I would expect the price to come down once competitors introduced cordless mowers. Very easy to use. Light and manouverable. Collects the cuttings well. Produces the stripes as advertised.
Summary: I initially purchased the 34 model from a local diy store - my garden is 250m sq so thought this would be ok as under the recommended 300m sq. Although the first few cuts of spring are not the driest conditions, I was disappointed at needing to re-charge the battery so often - about 4 or 5 times.
Summary: ASSEMBLY --------------- A previous comment stated the grass box was awkward to assemble, you do need to ensure that the tabs are correctly aligned prior to flexing/clicking the parts together.
great, and powerful - but perhaps not true alternative to petrol

Summary: Our lawn is more like field grass, than garden grass. We're moving somewhere more sensible and bought the Rotak with that in mind. Considering it was an overdue first cut of the year, I have to say the Rotak coped very well.
