Expert Review

  • Conclusion: That translated into better performance in our DirectX 11 gaming sim Aliens vs. Predator, though "better" is a relative term when you're still well under the 30 frames per second threshold for smooth gameplay. Still, casual gamers should find the CT15T-B0 a suitable platform.
  • Pros: Striking thin and light design, Excellent battery life, Beautiful high-def touch screen, Roomy keyboard and touch pad
  • Cons: Pricey, Mediocre multimedia performance, Limited port selection, Low-capacity SSD

Vizio's CT15T-B1 is excellent, but missing some finishing touches

2 May 2013
  • Summary: The Vizio CT15T-B1 is a thin, nice-looking laptop with plenty of performance and battery life. But for the money, the package should be a little more complete.
  • Pros: The Vizio CT15T-B1 is an attractive laptop with an excellent display, very good performance for its class, and excellent battery life. It also has 802.11ac Wi-Fi for the best wireless performance and it's a bloatware-free Microsoft Signature computer.
  • Cons: The CT15T-B1 doesn't have an SD card reader or a backlit keyboard. The touchpad's software support is minimal compared with competing models. Frequent travelers might find it too heavy.
