  • Summary: Performance of the laptop is excellent. Fast and no additional software loaded. This is a very clean Microsoft load. I am disappointed with the battery life. The advertising states 7 hours, with constant use I am able to get 4 hours. Other than the battery life this is an excellent value for the money.

  • Summary: This CT14-AO is a fantastic buy at the new price of $598. It was $898. I'm sure some people will scoff at the i3 level processor vs. i5 or i7. The i3 does have a decent 3MB cache and 1.8 ghz speed. It suits my needs with speed to spare. The case is really quite nice and classy feeling and looking. The screen resolution is higher than the norm for this size and looks great. I love the SSD, which at 128GB is fine for this computers intended use.

  • Summary: This ultrabook was highly rated in PC Magazine, and it delivers. If you are used to a regular laptop, this machine is thin and light in comparison at just over 3 lbs. It is quiet and boot time is amazingly fast. The 14" screen is great, and it is a little larger than the 13.3" Ultrabooks that are out there. The only complaint is the mouse touch pad. The pad is extremely sensitive and the cursor will disappear for short periods.

  • Summary: I must admit that I was not expecting the world when I picked up the slightly less capable A0 model of the Vizio CT-14 ultrabook as a secondary notebook to take on vacation, for general family use if one of the main computers goes off into the weeds, or perhaps to use a dedicated Linux machine. The build quality of the CT-14 is solid and the unit has a sleek, attractive design.
