Summary: Ordered this computer off Amazon and when it arrived (new), the sound did not work. Spoke with Vizio Tech Support and they stated the sound card was bad. Vizio also stated the company that sold it on Amazon was not an authorized re-seller and the warranty was null and void. They like most companies only warranty the item to the first entity that the product is sold new too. Authorized re-sellers (like Best Buy, Walmart, etc) can re-sell and there are no warranty issues.
Summary: My Octogenarian dad needed a PC to check e-mail and log in to the hospital to do patient charting. This all-in-one saved space and heat. Wireless network (or wired) and single power source saved cable connection tethering. Touchpad is nice sometimes but I hooked up a wireless mouse so it was easier for him to navigate. I like the slim matching keyboard, but it has unusual layout and limited number typing.
Summary: I got this unit the second week of December at CompUSA/TigerDirect for $599. Great price for an i5 all-in-one. The specs on this are quite decent. 4Gb Ram, Dual-Core i5 clocked at 2.5Ghz, 4USB 3.0 ports, eSATA, HDMI, Wifi b/g/n, Bluetooth... Yeah... so far so good. No DVD support. But that's what those USB ports are here for! And that HDMI port. You read that right. I can plug in my Bluray player to the HDMI port and watch a nice movie anytime.
Summary: This computer locked up and had shut down errors from the very beginning. I thought that it would get better after doing several updates, but it did not. Even worse, i have contacted the seller (tiger direct) twice through the Amazon website asking to return the item to them and they have not even responded. At this point I am not happy with the computer, with tiger direct or with Amazon.
Summary: Bought this for my 17 year old son. Let him consider a laptop as well. He chose the visio. After watching reviews on youtube and seeing different models at different stores, I purchased the Visio. So far I'm very impressed. Easy to set up and the screen is gorgeous. Considering that all-in-ones are a compromise this is a very good system. Read a few of the complaints listed by others.
Summary: Got this for $600 at Tiger Direct. Tough to find an i5 all-in-one at that price. Anyway, there are some big pros and easily corrected cons about this device. It's not a touchscreen, which I actually consider a plus. I'm running Windows 7 on it, I don't need or want a 24 inch immovable tablet, and I won't have fingerprints all over it - where's the problem? The monitor is absolutely gorgeous - the picture is flawless. The performance is solid.
Summary: I have already written a comment on this but all I can say from buying 2 of these for front of desk office use is that they are well built, easy to setup and install (I had both up and ready in 5 minutes), good specification and display definition is very crisp and vibrant. Yes its a little overpriced, but you cant have everything. We had a faulty PSU but Vizio support were very efficient and sent out a replacement the same day.
