Excerpt: This laptop has had terrible wifi connections since I bought it 3 months ago. An update to win 8.1 has not helped. It keeps dropping wifi and then is difficult difficult to reconnect. My other computers don't have this problem. My techie friends cannot resolve the issue and I am contacting customer support.
Excerpt: No bootable device error after two weeks of use on satellite laptop. Customer support unhelpful (didn't even know how to open bios) and wanted us to pay $150 to restore OS when the drive is likely bad. Would not give option to purchase restore disk for 40 (software not covered in their warranty). Had to pay to have laptop shipped for fix. Toshiba has the worst customer support policies that I have ever encountered. Recommend any other brand.
Excerpt: This ultrabook is light and portable. that is the good part. the pointing device is way too sensitive, and performs a function sometimes when your hand goes over but does not touch it. And The Worse part of the laptop is Windows 8. what a horrible illogical op system. whoever developed this and the approvers of the system had to be on drugs. The other BAd part is all the useless programs that come pre-installed. why Toshiba, why? And the Toshiba page opens on boot up.
