Toshiba's Nile-powered Satellite T235D notebook

techreport.com
30 August 2010

Processor performance is equivalent, graphics performance is quite a bit better, and battery life is a little bit worse.

Toshiba Satellite T235D-S1345 – No optical drive

etechreviews.net
14 August 2010
  • Excerpt: Toshiba Satellite T235D-S1345 has a 13.3 inch screen with resolution of 1,366x768 pixels. This resolution is standard for 13-16 inches screen these days. The display has LED backlighting. Pictures look bright enough and the text too is readable. But when seen from wide viewing angles, the screen looked a bit washed out. The stereo speakers are located in the front base and sound is emitted through the grilles.

Toshiba Satellite T235D (AMD)

LAPTOP Magazine
29 July 2010
  • Summary: In our review of the Intel-powered Toshiba Satellite T235-S1350 we called it the best value-priced ultraportable on the market today. The T235D has the same great looks, industry leading keyboard, and solid performance of the T235 for a little less coin, while offering better graphics performance.
  • Pros: Sleek design available in three colors, Great keyboard, Crisp smooth HD video playback, Better graphics performance than Intel version
  • Cons: Mediocre webcam, Tinny speakers, Shorter battery life than Intel version
