Excerpt: The saying you get what you pay for definately applies to this product. We were shopping at walmart for groceries about 6 months and happened to see a toshiba satellite laptop that was a special deal. We paid about 350 dollards for it. Well, ever since we brought it home it has given us problems. First the laptop froze and we had to find a toshiba approved laptop repair shop which was not that easy.
Excerpt: I am very please with this laptop. I buy no other brands than toshiba. It has sufficient memory and great proccessing capabilities. Screen resolution is nice and it has sharp contrast. The harddrrive size is just perfect and it runs smoothly. this computer is flat out built to last. It is very sturdy and the screen is a nice size as well. I use this computer for everyday use and i do not own a pc. Toshiba has never let me down.
Excerpt: I had brought this computer on sale during black friday for a measly 250 dollars at a sale at Best Buy's. Let me say though that if it was for $700 I would still have Purchased it! when I unpackaged it it look amazing with it's nice striped design as well as having nice bonuses including a printer! What truely suprised me though was when I looked at the specs It has a 320 Gb Hard Drive, 4 gb of Ram *with an additional extra 1 gb to games, music and video!
Excerpt: I have had this laptop for a little while now and I have to say it is not the best one that I have ever owned. I mainly got this laptop for the sales price because the laptop I was using up and dies on me. I like the size and the weight of the laptop but I was definitely not impressed with the operating system that it came with so I switched that shortly after acquiring the laptop.
Excerpt: I use my laptop a lot for my job it goes and goes. I have never had a compatibility issue no matter what I have to hook it up to for visuals or sound. It gets just as much use at home as well and I have not had any issues with it. It is still fast and I have had no problems installing any software. I use it for presentations, Java programing, photos, and all the regular things.
Excerpt: This laptop is a very good buy because of the cost and all the features, warranty, and software that is included with the purchase. It proved to run very fast and efficient with Windows Vista Premium pre installed.
Excerpt: I have had multiple toshiba laptops and they have worked great. It's not the top of the line but it works great for the average user. Great reformat tools. I highly recomend for the regular user needing a budget laptop.

Excerpt: So I purchased my toshiba labtop in September of 2009 so I could start my online classes. It is now March of 2010 and I have just started having problems with my keyboard not typing the correct keys. I am guessing the key board is going out on me. Ive ran various of virus scans to make sure it had nothing to do with that. I was told it has something to do with the computer getting to hot and that the fan is not working correctly.
Best computer i've had, great access to videos, consider it a tv

Excerpt: The ability for the computer to play DVDs my television set rejects and the ease in use allows for things i never thought possible, like watching videos off youtube or going online with ease. The keyboard lost a key but it is still usable. I bought a $2,000 computer and had 10 times more issues than this computer which was around 600, so I consider it high value and quality.
