Summary: The Good: light weight, small, some what good screen, HDMI port The Bad: -fan noise, fan noise, and none stop continuous fan noise. -Hot, hot, hot, it get too hat too soon! -2GB memory upgraded with exactly the same Samsung memory, total is 4GB. Very little difference in speed. Don't do it, save your money for the next laptop. -Picture view, well, it will show, when its in the mood. 7 out of 10 times, no pictures will show up. I just use Irfan View is faster and instant.

Summary: I bought this laptop back in Feb 2010 when it first came out it was good. It was my first laptop and I wasn't sure what to get. It made for a good intro netbook for a simple college student. I'm not big on games and just needed to do homework and internet browsing and whatever else to take up my time and ease my boredom. First months to year: Keys on occasion stuck or were unresponsive when I played Tetris on Facebook or general typing.
Summary: I've had this laptop for a year and a half. I bought it for the small size but didn't want something as small as the 10.1 laptops out there. If you want a compromise in that regard, this is great. No hardware, or software problems. My only con for this laptop is the heat it produces. If you will use it on desks mostly, it's not a problem though.
Summary: I like this laptop. I need to do more on my personal PC than a netbook could handle, but my employer provides a laptop that handles my power computing needs. I wanted a laptop to let me edit my music files and photos. The laptop does that well. I was disappointed by the contrast; however I found that Windows 7 has a gamma adjustment that helps. Click the start button and enter dccw.exe.
Summary: We bought a Toshiba T115D-S1120 for our son entering middle school. We have had it 5 months. I passed on a notebook because I wanted a little bigger screen. The larger screen size is definitely better. As a PC, it generally works fine. 3 issues. 1) It overheats sometimes when it has been used for several hours and behaves erratically. It has to cool for two hours before it can be used again. 2) The wireless drops all the time, so internet has become nearly useless.
Summary: I got this laptop hoping to use it for documents and web browsing. It looks great and has a decent price tag, but when I say that this laptop lags, I'm serious. It takes a few minutes to go from clicking the Internet explorer icon to getting to my homepage. And when I'm scrolling down a page on the web, the entire screen screws up, making it almost useless for browsing. Windows delay before opening, and the "updates" take HOURS.
Summary: I loved it from the first sight. But at the beginning the screen started to blink, which was annoying. I didn't want to let this Toshiba go, so I ... just waited. When the battery was full charged, the screen stopped to blink! Now it works perfectly fine and I would rate my Toshiba with 5 stars. It is cool, thin and light, easy to operate, amazing quality and it is laptop, no a netbook (full Windows7, not a Starter; 2 processors). I like Windows7.
