Summary: I brought a refurbished one from the Amazon Marketplace for $578, at this price I would award it 4 stars (but 3 for full price). I brought it to replace an Acer I had (it decided to blown up one afternoon) with a dedicate Nvida graphics card which I used for photography post processing and minor gaming. Laptop is light for its size, looks great, screen is a bit too shiney for me but one of my mate likes these types of screens.
Great Internal Function, Poor Build Quality--see Update

Summary: ***SEE UPDATE AT BOTTOM*** I do copious amounts of research when buying electronics, but it's reading product reviews that gives me a sense of comfort about the product. Therefore, when I literally couldn't find any descriptive reviews of this laptop, I was terrified. However, the technical specs swayed me. And I'm glad I took the plunge. What you need to know is that this computer delivers on performance.
Summary: Considering that this laptop was just released in October and considering I have it for a bit over a month now, I am shocked that I had to call Toshiba Support 6 times in 32 days. More so, I paid an extra fee of $159 to have them be on call for any PC issues that may come up. What was my issue? At first, the VLC wouldn't play but then the downloads just wouldn't downloads. Now mind you, I am downloading very typical stuff that most PCs have.
Summary: My Hewlett Packard laptop was dying so I decided to evaluate the field and after consideration decided upon purchasing this laptop. Overall I am pleased. I think the price for the overall package is very good. I have noticed two challenges for this Toshiba laptop. First, the bluetooth seems to drop out. This is rather inconvenient. My remote mouse suddenly stops working and I have to reconnect. The second problem is the speakers.
