Summary: I bought this laptop as a long-term Toshiba customer, having used one of their netbooks for close to two years. The laptop itself functions well but it was evident it was made of delicate, inferior plastics. I had a Acer Travelmate for a long time and it took a heck of a beating without issues. How would you close your laptop lid, and how much force would you use?
Summary: I love Toshiba products,I have had 2 previous laptops by Toshiba and have been in love since. I am now very skeptical of their quality. Since purchasing this I am having so many issues with the product. I think for the price I paid I got what I paid for,but with Toshiba's quality I am very shocked at the poor quality at this laptop and with the performance.
Summary: In the last 2 years our company had switched to buying Toshiba notebooks exclusively because of their excellent support. The forced transition to Windows 8 and refusal to support Windows 7 in any way on current notebooks has caused me to no longer purchase Toshiba equipment. We are in no way ready to move to Windows 8 and when I bought this unit and attempted to downgrade to Windows 7 I find that I can't get drivers.
Summary: The second one I have from Toshiba, I think they are one of the best brands in computers. I totally recomend it. Does anyone knows if this laptop have space for a solid state drive? I have read some information but I cant find anything about it, Thanks!
Summary: As both a gamer and a telecommunications technician, I need power and multitasking capability beyond the everyday farm-ville playing, email checking crowd.. And this is a great laptop for it. I can play World of Warcraft on decent settings with ZERO issues. The WiFi range and strength well within norms, and I rarely have issues with things like authentication, or dropping.
