Summary: It has been an excellent computer, the only bad thing is that it said that it had a back light in the keyboard but the light never worked, but that has been the only thing. I really like my computer!
Summary: I bought this laptop a year ago at office depot, it is a great laptop, preforms at very high speeds, it says 2.3 ghz but it boosts to 3.3 Ghz. It is incredibly fast and I would recommend personally if it already isn't to update it to windows 8. It does even better on windows 8. The only problem I have is that the hard drive well broke, it was declared as a defect at office depot. Toshiba helped me on the phone, get it registered, and get it shipped off for repairs.
Summary: The only cons I have on this laptop are the fact that the wireless card is so bad that you have to be next to the router in order for it to get some connection. Slow HDD. I would like the keyboard to be a little bit more sturdy, but it's not so bad. Don't like all the bugs of Windows 8. That is why I run Ubuntu 12.04 and Windows 7. Speakers are OK. Touchpad is big, works fine. Fast laptop, you can run games on it, not un ultra, but you can run almost any game.
Great computer! Even better after going back to Windows 7.

Summary: The laptop arrived in "like new" condition, no signs of any use. I know a lot of users complain about the keyboard...why? It works for me, maybe because this is my 3rd Toshiba laptop and I am used to it. I do like the separate number pad, no awkward fumbling for numbers on the top row keys. The only thing I didn't like is the Windows 8 software, a huge learning curve. I found it so annoying that I had Windows 7 Home Premium installed.
Summary: Okay, so I've had this computer about a day now. I must say it was well priced and the processor is really fast. The keyboard is fine to type on, and I touch type very fast, even though it is not quite full sized (some keys like the space bar, number pad and arrow keys are reduced) but all goes well.
Summary: Overall, it's a wonderful computer. The keyboard is very nice, the screen is great, I really like that I have physical buttons to press down by the mousepad, shortcut keys are nice, windows I'm still adjusting to, but over-all great computer. There is no scroll feature on the mousepad, so that is kind of a let down. At first I was unsure if I wanted to go with this computer because of the screen resolution, but that hasn't really been a problem.
Summary: This laptop was what I was looking for in my price range (I got it on sale) and I've had great luck with Toshiba. My first Toshiba, (a Pentium ll) laptop still works. I do not like Windows 8, but really did give it a try, got fed up and installed Windows 7 Pro which is not hard but time consuming due to looking up the "correct" drivers on the Toshiba web site.
Summary: Ok. First, let me say that this computer does perform as advertised. It is fast, processes graphics well, (You won't be playing Skyrim at full settings, but it gets the job done) and reasonably well designed. My main issue with this machine is that it came pre-loaded with windows 8 and some crap software and apps that are easy enough to remove. Speakers are a little tinny at times, but nothing that can't be fixed with a decent pair of headphones. Other than that...
