Summary: I was initially hesitant to purchase this laptop based on the mixed reviews, but my experience has been great. Setup was easy, boot up is fast, and everything works well. The touch pad took a little getting used to. Touch scrolling is the opposite direction from my Chromebook, but I usually use a mouse so it was not that important to me. I did not want a touch screen, so this model worked out great.

Summary: I've been using my laptop for eight months now. I have to use it plugged in for a few months as the battery went bad. It is not charged. I bought a new battery, but it turned out the internal battery is no good. I have to replace it. So I am not happy about this laptop. For new buyers I recommend not to buy Toshiba laptop if you use a wireless laptop a lot, you'll have a problem with a battery very soon.
Summary: Hey I bought this laptop for school and gaming. The minute I start a game that's an thing graphics wise better than a flash game the fan goes nuts and overheats. What happens when it overheats? It turns off....every time. And this isn't because of the laptop is old noooooo. THIS STARTED TWO WEEKS AFTER I GOT IT! Do not buy. It handles high end games ok. It's got all the space you need and by God does it look cool.
Summary: This is a replacement for a HP computer that was comparably equiped but also had a touch screen. The HP computer developed a problem that the HP offshore tech support couldn't fix after 3 dragged out attempts. They wanted it returned to be repaired. So I took advantage of Costco's great return policy on the 88th day. The Toshiba is fine so far but I will reserve any glowing praise until there is more time on it. SO FAR SO GOOD.
