Excerpt: I'm fairly new to laptops having been used to working with PCs for most of my student and working life. My boyfriend and I received a second hand Toshiba Satelite Pro my his parents after they decided to upgrade and buy something a bit lighter and more powerful, I know know why they wanted to get rid of it! I cant comment on the value for money of this laptop as we recieved it as a gift but with regards to power, it's fairly crap.
Excerpt: I have used the Toshiba L20 for about six months, the specs are very impressive indeed, and has lived up to the reputation that Toshiba is renowned for. The laptop itself is lightweight at around 2.7 kg which makes it perfect for use on the move, I have found that the inbuilt wireless network card brilliant and has never let me down.
Excerpt: When I first began looking for a laptop I was looking for something that had a large range of functions: Easy access to internet services, fast processing speed and large amount of RAM, A CD & DVD Writer and Re-writer, and a fair amount of hard-drive space. With a budget of £500, I narrowed down the choices to a few, including this laptop.
Pros: Smart, Simplistic, Durable, Reliable, Allows for different types of internet connection
Excerpt: The Toshiba Satellite Pro L20.... I got hold of this laptop due to the fact that my other one fell and the insurance company gave me this one, and to be honest i am ever so happy with this laptop and the only down side of this laptop is that the size of the memory of the graphics card get taken from the RAM so instead of using the whole of the 256Mb my system information is saying that i have 192Mb of RAM but other than that this is a really nice, light weight slim,...
Company is reliable but Celeron's performance in general is not so reliable. Big screen is a minus.

Excerpt: Toshiba's reliability is well known for decade. The name is enough to trust the quality. It does not heat up like American brands, e.g. IBM and Dell etc. Unless there is huge difference in the price, it is better to buy intel than Celeron; their performance is not as good as intel motherboards. 15" screen although is good for watching movies but diffifult to carry around and handle in general. It is quite difficult to call it laptop for its size.
Summary: This is my second Toshiba laptop, the first one is still going strong after more than three years of daily use, and it's great. Very lightweight, great battery life of around four hours and connected very easily to my wireless network. In my last job we used Dell laptops and they are terrible in comparison to Toshiba. With a 80GB HDD you've got plenty of space for storing music, videos, photos etc. Must say that it was a bargain when I brought mine in mid Jan.

Summary: Ho comprato questo pc circa 1 anno fa.
