Summary: For it's price it's good with its core i3 (I bought this in January 2013, around the £350 mark I believe, not sure what it's like now). However, the whole thing is a little flimsy (granted I have had this for best part of a year and am quite rough with it).
Summary: I gave it a 4 star rating because I like the clear screen and ease of use unfortunately the Windows 8 system is completely alien to me and there is a lot of frustration with the cursor being very sensitive and keeps moving off the area you are typing in.
Summary: Generally good, took a while to get used to it after a desk top pc as the areas. Expected some simple instructions, but did include, so basically you just have to learn by trying different things.
Summary: Toshiba laptops are good quality. I like the textured casing doesn't show fingermarks as easily as the shiny finish. not too keen on windows 8 taking a bit of getting used to after using vista for years-could be my age! think its good value
Excerpt: We recently bought this model of the Satellite for my dad who is not a great user of computers, but needs something functional, reasonably compact and stylish that will stand the test of time. With the exception of the last point, this model is proving to tick all the boxes.
