Summary: I hate laptops and so it is amazing that I've given this one the score that I have. I don't like the track-pad - it feels cheap and 'plasticky' (if that is even a word). Same goes for the case. However, it is a relatively new computing device for me and came with Windows 7 64 Bit Pro, so it was able to run many XP apps. It also came with Windows 8 as an 'upgrade', but I may as well put the CD in the microwave right now, as I will never install that rubbish.
Summary: Overall, for the price, this is a good product. However I am finding that it has slowed down a lot and can't seem to cope with tasks as well as other machines of a similar price. I am going to upgrade the RAM rather than change the machine, though, as I do really like it!

However, the whole thing is a little flimsy (granted I have had this for best part of a year and am quite rough with it). For example one of the keys on the keyboard on mine has come a bit loose and I can feel it starting to happen with others too, and I have broken the headphone jack, although that's my fault really for accidentally...

Summary: Although a good machine that is not only quick but I hope as reliable as I expect Toshiba to be, I am rather disappointed because days after purchasing it I start seeing adverts for faster and better spec machines for a lot cheaper than I have paid for this one. I would normally carry one complaining, but in this case I wont as I have found since looking at the other machines, I can see the difference is not only in speed of other the machines, which is not much...
