Summary: a lousy laptop - keyboards didnt work - fixed twice so out of action for several weeks - then charger stopped working/ melted - will never buy a toshiba laptop again - and never buy in currys again lousy service next time will spend £500 - £600 on a laptop without the name toshiba
Summary: This laptop is totally useless. It retains nothing, it clicks and clunks and will not download anything from a cd. Now for the best bit! I bought Microsoft Outlook and Office for an extra £200 ish and guess what? Every time this stupid machine upgrades I lose the lot.
Summary: I brought this item for my Daughter who is doing GCSE's and needed a new laptop, the laptop arrived in the specified time and that is the only thing good about the buy. when my daughter turned the laptop it blanked out, so she allowed time for the machine to stay off whilst on the charger.
Summary: I recently purchased this particular Toshiba laptop ( not from Amazon, I should add) and have had nothing but trouble with the piece of junk. On reading recent feedback on various forums, I found that there are many, many people out there who have had similar experiences with Toshiba.
Summary: ordered this laptop as the price of £219 was very tempting... looks lovely from the outside but keyboard is very cheap press one key and the whole keyboard sinks! no good for watching films or you tube quality is pretty poor. Great for the kids but you certainly get what you pay for in this case!
Summary: At times it is unusable with no way of getting out of pages. Often the page changes on the screen without any attempt on my part to move. The lack of a start button is crazy. Difficult to be objective about the machine itself but it was Toshiba's own decision to load Windows 8.
Excerpt: I have already reviewed my wonderful Acer Laptop, which is suffering from a premature, untimely illness - needing parts replacing.. at first I assumed the problem was terminal and starting looking into a replacement, but now I am extremely pleased that I have only popped it to the back of a cupboard...
Summary: One word: Fragile. I bought this computer, largely because it had a reasonable price and seemingly generous RAM. Everything seemed well until I tried to gently lift the thing up by the corner, causing the screen to omit a disconcerting crack sound. Of course, it now no longer works.
Summary: Bought this product and when it arrived it was not working unless i removed the battery, i contacted toshiba and they sent me a new battery as they thought this was the problem, this failed to solve the issue so i had to send the laptop off for repair.
