Fragile, flimsy, easy to break.

Summary: One word: Fragile. I bought this computer, largely because it had a reasonable price and seemingly generous RAM. Everything seemed well until I tried to gently lift the thing up by the corner, causing the screen to omit a disconcerting crack sound. Of course, it now no longer works. Further investigation revealed that there is a sizeable cavity behind the screen and the casing, which means that pretty much anything but the most gentle of handling will most likely to lead...
Summary: I never have much luck with Laptops, there is always something. However this laptop has lived up to my expectatios, it is still fast as starting and shutting down. I was concerned when looking for a laptop as everyone was saying Window 8 was very complicated however I have found it very easy to use and I think it is better than Windows 7.
Summary: Overall, for the price, this is a good product. However I am finding that it has slowed down a lot and can't seem to cope with tasks as well as other machines of a similar price. I am going to upgrade the RAM rather than change the machine, though, as I do really like it!
Summary: What a superb price for this laptop , well made and very up to date ... sadly we experienced issues with it needing to re-configure taking 20 minutes each time. As we could not cure it we returned it .. great shame as we had purchased associated products for it.
Excerpt: "...my computer replaced, with the Toshiba Satellite Pro. My dad has a Toshiba and I’ve generally thought it to be a reliable brand, so I was pleased. The laptop is heavy for a small person ...
Pros: Very reliable and good quality machine
Cons: Nothing fancy, and Windows 8 not to everyone's taste !
Summary: A basic laptop that goes further than the basics. My wife loves it, she can use it in the lounge etc. the screen is clear and the laptop well made, she has no reservations with it at all, if I did not prefer my Mac I would strongly consider this machine.
Summary: So they sent this with a P960 processor instead of a celeron which was a bit of a bummer - but i also got 8 GB ram and a 750 GB hdd in this which was a pleasant surprise. Wife loves it. I wiped out windows and installed kubuntu for her on it and its nice and fast.
Summary: Bought this product and when it arrived it was not working unless i removed the battery, i contacted toshiba and they sent me a new battery as they thought this was the problem, this failed to solve the issue so i had to send the laptop off for repair. when it arrived back from toshiba 'repair' it was actually working even worse than before as it would no longer even turn on...
